Private Day Charters
Half day, full day and sunset. A yacht, a captain and crew, and a day shaped around your group.

A private yacht day means the whole yacht or catamaran, a captain and crew, and a day shaped around your group. Charters leave from the docks on the St George’s Lagoon, at Port Louis Marina and the Grenada Yacht Club, and sail to snorkel the Underwater Sculpture Park, Flamingo Bay and quiet bays along the coast. Private day charters run from USD 950 up to USD 3,500 per yacht, depending on inclusions and the yacht.

Choosing your day
Half day, full day or sunset?
A half day is long enough for the Underwater Sculpture Park and a second snorkel stop. A full day adds time at anchor, on a quiet beach or in a calm bay, with a long lunch. A sunset sail is two to two and a half hours along the coast as the light changes.
The reason people book
Snorkelling the Underwater Sculpture Park by yacht

The Underwater Sculpture Park in Molinière Bay is the reason most people book. Sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor placed the figures on the seabed, and the reef has been growing over them ever since. You snorkel above a ring of children holding hands, and sponges and coral have given each face its own character. Flamingo Bay is a living reef a short sail away, and Morne Rouge Bay is a calm place to anchor, swim and eat.
Families, couples and friends
A private yacht day, for your group
Whether you are a couple, a family or a group of friends, every yacht gives your party the whole deck. Pick the day length, then decide whether you want to snorkel, paddle, fish or simply sail. Tell me your dates and who is coming, including children and anyone who would rather stay dry, and I confirm availability and the plan for the day.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a private day charter cost?
Day charters run from USD 950 up to USD 3,500 per yacht, not per guest, depending on inclusions and the yacht. Tell me the date and who is coming, and I confirm the exact rate before you book.
Do you add anything to the yacht’s price?
No. The price is the yacht operator’s own rate, the same as booking direct. Additional services I arrange, such as transfers or catering, are quoted separately and agreed before you confirm.
How many people can come?
It depends on the yacht. Sail Away takes up to ten, Epiphany and Spice Princess up to eight, and Bacchanal up to six at the listed price, or up to ten on a day charter if you ask me first. For bigger parties, just ask.
Where do the yachts leave from?
All these yacht charters leave from the St George’s Lagoon, from different docks at Port Louis Marina and the Grenada Yacht Club. Your confirmation names the exact dock and the time.
Is food and drink included?
It depends on the yacht, and I confirm exactly what is included, and the rate for it, when you enquire. On Bacchanal, rum punch, drinking water and an ice cooler are included. On Epiphany, rum punch, water and snacks are on board. Some trips include light snacks and drinks, and Sail Away’s sunset cruise includes a glass of prosecco for each guest. Sail Away day charters are self-catering, with catering and drinks packages arranged on request. I can also arrange a private chef to cook your favourite meal, or Grenada’s national dish, oil down.
Will rain spoil a yacht day?
Showers are short, usually a few minutes, and the sun is back before you are. A yacht day carries on through them. In the rare case that conditions are unsafe, the operator offers another day or a suitable alternative.
How do I book?
Send me your date and group size and I confirm availability with the yacht. You can also book through the app from the Book link in the menu.
Plan your yacht day
Tell me the date, the group and the kind of day you have in mind. I confirm availability and take care of every detail, from touchdown to departure.
