On the water
Group Charters
Sail together by the guest, with room for up to fifty aboard. Or take a yacht for your group alone.

A group charter is the simplest way to put a whole party on the water together. Shadowfax and Starwind sail by the guest, with room for thirty-four aboard Shadowfax and up to fifty on Starwind, so a family reunion, a wedding party or a company outing can sail together. Group charters run from USD 85 up to USD 250 per person, depending on the yacht and inclusions. Both yachts are also available to book as private charters.

Group sailings
Rates are per guest and set by each yacht’s operator. Booking through Grenada Concierge costs the same as booking direct, and nothing is added to the price. Additional services I arrange for you, such as transfers or catering, are quoted separately and agreed before you confirm.

Shadowfax, a sailing catamaran
Shadowfax, run by locals. Priced per guest, up to thirty-four aboard.
Lobster and champagne cruise, 6 hours
Snorkel the Underwater Sculpture Park, then sail to Hog Island for a fabulous lobster lunch. Swim and relax on the beach, and enjoy lunch and drinks at your own pace. The champagne lunch starts with fish soup, followed by grilled lobster tail with sides, served by the chef with a glass of champagne. A full open bar, lunch and snorkel equipment are included, with time for a last swim before the return sail.
Sunset cruise, 2 hours
Two hours out of St George’s harbour as the sun goes down, with champagne, a full open bar and light finger foods, along the coast towards Halifax Bay and Point Salines.
Their legacy
For more than four decades, one family has built its life around the sea. Peter and his wife Myrna spent over forty years designing and building yachts, and their skills and salty wisdom passed from one generation to the next.
Today Shadowfax is run by Roger Spronk, who carries that legacy forward with warmth and pride, and his oldest son has now joined the crew.
The family also supports young islanders, opening the door to the charter industry so that the island’s maritime heritage continues to thrive. Sail with Shadowfax and you sail with a community, not just a crew.

Starwind VI, a catamaran for groups
Starwind, run by locals. Priced per guest, from ten up to fifty aboard.
Half day snorkel, 4 hours
Four hours aboard, anchored over the Molinière Underwater Sculpture Park and again at Flamingo Bay, with trampoline nets across the bows for anyone who would rather lie above the water than in it. Beers, rum punch, rum, vodka, gin, sodas, juices and sandwiches are included. Sailings 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm.
On board
Together on the water

Sunbathe on the trampoline nets, swim off the back steps and share lunch on the beach. A group sailing is as much about the company as the coast.
Choosing your day
Half day, full day or sunset?
Shadowfax’s lobster and champagne cruise is the full day, built around lunch on Hog Island, and its sunset cruise is two hours along the coast as the light changes. Starwind is the easy half day: four hours with the Sculpture Park and Flamingo Bay.
Reunions, weddings and company days
Your group, your day
Whether it is a family reunion, a wedding party or a company outing, tell me the size of your group and the occasion, and I confirm availability and the plan for the day. Prefer the whole yacht to yourselves? Starwind and Shadowfax are also available to charter privately.
For a smaller party, see private day charters, fishing charters and sunset cruises.
More on the water: boat trips and snorkelling.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a group charter cost?
Group sailings are priced per guest and run from USD 85 up to USD 250, depending on the yacht and inclusions. Tell me the date and how many are coming, and I confirm the exact rate before you book.
Do you add anything to the yacht’s price?
No. The price is the yacht operator’s own rate per guest, the same as booking direct. Additional services I arrange, such as transfers or catering, are quoted separately and agreed before you confirm.
How many people can come?
Shadowfax takes up to thirty-four guests, and Starwind takes from ten up to fifty.
Can we charter a yacht privately?
Yes. Starwind and Shadowfax are also available to book as private charters for your own party. Tell me the date and the size of your group, and I confirm the rate before you book.
Where do the yachts leave from?
The yachts leave from St George’s, from different docks. Your confirmation names the exact dock and the time.
Is food and drink included?
On Shadowfax, the lobster and champagne cruise includes a full open bar and a champagne lunch of fish soup and grilled lobster tail on Hog Island, and the sunset cruise includes champagne, an open bar and light finger foods. On Starwind, beers, rum punch, rum, vodka, gin, sodas, juices and sandwiches are included. I confirm exactly what is included when you enquire. I can also arrange a private chef to cook your favourite meal, or Grenada’s national dish, oil down.
Will rain spoil a group sailing?
Showers are short, usually a few minutes, and the sun is back before you are. A day on the water carries on through them. In the rare case that conditions are unsafe, the operator offers another day or a suitable alternative.
How do I book?
Send me your date and group size and I confirm availability with the yacht. You can also book through the app from the Book link in the menu.
